What we collect

• Account data: email, first and last name, age, gender, ethnicity (optional demographic), country, state/region and city.
• Onboarding answers: how you heard about us and how many past relationships you reported.
• Ratings you submit: the first name, last name, approximate age and location of the person, plus your standardized answers to the 14 rating questions (scored behavior questions, non-scored dating insights and an overall question).
• Usage data: your searches, credit transactions and subscription status.
• Payment data: handled by our payment processor. We never see or store your full card details.

How we use it

To run your account, show aggregated ratings, award and spend search credits, process payments, prevent abuse and fraud, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your data for advertising profiles.

What other people can see

Ratings are shown only as aggregated averages and counts. Your identity as a rater is never displayed to other members. Searches you run are private to you.

Data about third parties

When you rate someone, you submit limited data about another person. Only submit information you obtained honestly through a personal relationship. If you are the subject of a profile and want it reviewed or removed, contact us and we will investigate. We may remove profiles or ratings at our discretion, and we will comply with valid legal requests.

Storage, security and retention

Data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure with row-level access controls, encrypted in transit. We keep account data while your account exists and for as long as needed for legal and fraud-prevention purposes. Aggregated rating data may be retained after account deletion in de-identified form.

Your rights

You can access and correct your details in Settings, request a copy of your data, or request deletion of your account. Depending on where you live you may also have rights to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us to exercise any of these.

Children

WAID is for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
